Ishmael Khalaki
Founder and Electrical Engineer
With over 24 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Ishmael Khalaki is the driving force behind Sekankoe Engineering. His extensive expertise spans a wide range of areas, including working with up to 132kV equipment, electrification, high mast lights, streetlights, switching stations, boreholes, treatment plants, and electrical building services.
Ishmael holds a B-tech degree in Electrical Engineering, Government Certificate of Competency – Electrical (Factories), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and is currently finalising his Master of Business Administration (MBA).
He is registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist, Professional Certificated Engineer, and is a senior member at the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers and SAPVIA. Ishmael is a qualified assessor, electrician, and holds a Master installation electrician (MIE) wireman’s license. Additionally, he holds legal appointments in terms of General Machinery Regulation 2(1).
