POSITION: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION)

MONTHLY SALARY (All Inclusive): R45 000

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

DUTIES
  1. Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) or equivalent.
  2. Valid code B driver’s license.
    (Compulsory practical driving assessment to be conducted prior oral interview).
  3. Five years’ experience post qualification in Electrical field.
  4. Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech. Eng.
  5. Experience in performing Electrification design.
  6. Experience in Project Management.
  7. Experience in performing Electrical building design.
  8. Comprehensive knowledge on Occupational Health and Safety Act and its Regulations.
  1. Electrical building design.
  2. Area light design.
  3. Substation design.
  4. Perform network studies on LV, MV and High Voltage network.
  5. Making use of drawing and design software programmes such as AUTO CAD, RETIC MASTER, POWER MASTER, CADDIE, ACTCAD, etc.
  6. Project Management.
  7. Protection grading.
  8. Compilation of Tender document.
  9. Financial Management.
  10. Pricing estimates.
  11. Power Quality Administration and Management.
  12. Contract management: FIDIC, NEC, GCC and JBCC.
